Castle District Prague - Hradcany

Prague Castle District Highlights

Prague Castle District also known as Hradcany is the area on the west side of the Prague Castle Complex where Czech nobility used to live. Their lavish residencies, such as Schwarzenberg Palace, Czernin Palace, Sternberg Palace, and Tuscan palace, are used by ministries and the National Gallery. It also includes Loreta with a Capuccin monastery and Strahov Monastery next to the Pohorelec tram stop. We also recommend visiting a romantic area Novy Svet located just on the edge of the Prague Castle District.
